Dr. Tomlinson received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Harding University in Searcy, AR in 2016. He returned to his alma mater and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019 where his education was focused on the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders with a heavy emphasis on manual techniques. Because of his training, Jacob gravitated more towards the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders with his hands instead of modalities and traditional exercise-based models. 

Since obtaining his DPT, Jacob has practiced in various settings of physical therapy including pediatrics, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, home health, hospice, and finally outpatient. It is in the outpatient setting that Jacob found his stride to treat musculoskeletal pain with a hands-on approach. Since working in the outpatient setting, Jacob began pursuing a Diploma in Osteopractic to further enhance his skills with the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal disorders with the highest level of current evidence. This new model led Jacob to have a passion for the treatment of spine-related disorders, specifically migraine headaches, sacroiliac joint disorders, and chronic low back pain.
